- Review the protocols for screening of depression and how to diagnose clinical depression and severity.
- Understand how to create a biopsychosocial formulation that guides a treatment plan for referral to psychotherapy, initiation of medication and/or consultation with a mental health provider.
- Understand the use of medications and evidence-based therapies.
